Would dive operators, restaurants, bicycle rental shops be open on Christmas and Boxing Day? My husband and I have a flight reserved which arrives around 8pm on Christmas Eve and I am wondering if we will spend the next 2 days with nothing to do...

If you consider snorkelling, diving, windsurfing, relaxing in your resort or touring around the island in a rental car nothing, then you will have "nothing" to do. Resorts and their dive-shops & restaurants, many non-resort restaurants will be open. I'm sure many car rentals will be open (arrange this ahead of time). And if you absolutely must have a bicycle for those two days, you had better ask your resort to arrange this ahead for you--those places might very well be closed on Dec 25 & 26. Personally, I wouldn't worry about a bike just yet--relax!

A number of Resorts have on premises bike rental also. Kayaking, sailing, hiking, birdwatching, fishing, etc. are some of the more than 50 things to do on Bonaire, no matter what the day.
