I have heard that we no longer need to get re-entry permits when we leave Bonaire. Does this mean we don't have to go to Immigration or do anything before we leave?

That's my understanding of the new rules as explained by the sign on the door at Immigration.

You need to carry your current original (no copy) of your residency or continue to get the exit/entry visa. Rules changed July of this year. I don't like carrying my original anything so will get my letter every time. Susan

I keep my sedula in my wallet and that works fine. I have re entered 2 times since the new rules with no problem.
