Does anyone have the new "Rotating darknes"-schedules of the WEB for this week, or can you post them, perhaps as an attachment?

Thank you in advance.

Harrie

Just call WEB and they fax it to you. I got the schedule within a few minutes after I called.

Thanks for the tip, it worked, I even got it through e-mail!, within one minute!

I'll attach it here for other people on Bonaire:

This we found in our regular mailbox.

WEB helps us to use electricity more conscious.

Would work everywhere, not only on Bonaire!

Harry, thanks for posting these.

I think I would loose a lot of weight...no cooking with electrical appliances! Actually, we had rolling blackouts here in Southern California about 3 years ago, and in general, "some" Californian's are pretty good about conserving energy.

Where did you get the print out dates on the previous 2 documents? I wish I could read paumpamento (sp, and I'm to rushed to look it up, sorry). It would be good to have those online for folks heading to the island (like me) so we can plan to be in the water somewhere when there is no electricity!

Cynde,

I just called WEB: 7178244 or +599 7178244
got a kind lady with the name Rubiella Winklaar, asked her to send me a schedule for the outages, and I said I preferred to get it in my e-mailbox (by fax was also possible), and one minute later I had it in my mailbox.
There were no schedules in Dutch or English available, but when you know the region or street-name you stay in, it must be possible to read it also for non-papiamentu-reading people.
Actually I will try to get the schedules the coming time, and will post them on BT, if possible. So you can also look on BT, local items.

This morning btw we were supposed to have no power, but it stayed on all the time.

Harrie, thanks. I'm printing this out and putting it in my file. If you could post them, or send them to the moderators we can post them. I think that folks going to the island would want to know the outage times (at least I would!)

Thanks again.

As promised, I tried to get the schedules for coming week, because the schedule now available will be finished, tonight.
The friendly woman on the WEB told me that there is no new schedule at the moment, and perhaps there even will not come a new one, because it would "not be necessary anymore". She advised me to call again at the end of the afternoon, to hear if there were new schedules. I will do so, and post them here, if there are new ones.

I got a message from the WEB, (Rubiella Winklaar) that there will not be any new schedules issued for the coming three months, because the Aggreko power-units are installed now, and on duty. Web expects to have no rolling black-outs anymore for the coming months, but it still can be possible that there will be short power-cuts for less then 4 hours, incidentally and unscheduled.

Sounds as good news. Now see what the final solution will be going to be.

Harrie
