Hi all!
I noticed on the calendar, http://www.infobonaire.com/calendar.html, the shops and banks will be closed for Good Friday, Easter, and Easter Monday. Does that include the groceries as well? Are shops open on that Saturday?
Thanks!
Cheryl

It is a shopping frenzy on Thursday and Saturday.

Thanks, Linda!
This is EXACTLY the type of info that I NEVER would have known, except for this board. Thanks to you and Jake for providing the resource!
Cheers!
Cheryl

I'm betting there is no container coming in that week either, Cheryl.

Container, yes, but it depends on it's arrival time in Bonaire. It normally arrives sometime late on Wednesday but if weather delays it until Thursday then it can be really difficult to unload, process through customs, deliver to stores, and get it on the shelves before the holiday begins.

Cheryl! Hello there my Bonaire buddy! How are you?? Please do NOT tell me you're going to Bonaire in April without me because I will cry.....

How are you? How is Airey?

Don't cry, Kelly, come on down! Airey and I will be taking care of Ann's kitties for a few days. It's a kitty rotation - Ann goes to the states, we go to Bonaire to care for Ann's kitties, my mom goes to my house to care for my kitty. Everybody gets a change of pace.

But we've gotta catch up with you! You've already done a November trip without us! <sniff..>

cheers!
c.
