Many of you may recognize this house from your visits to Bonaire. It is the first house on the road to Nikkiboko, near the church in town. For those of you that don't visit Bonaire at Christmas time, they go all out when decorating this house. These are pictures from last year.

Bonairean house lights!

great job! santa!

This has always been one of my favorites. I usually drive by it on my way to my children's play school and several of my babysitters' homes.

Oh, almost forgot. Here is the schedule for some Xmas concerts if any of you will be visiting during Xmas.
Dec 17 at 6:30pm Wilhelmina Plaza (downtown Kralendijk)
Dec 23 at 5:30pm Misa di Playa (church with the clock tower downtown - per my babysitter)
Dec 26 at 5:30pm SGB (high school on Kaya Korona)

My understanding is there will be a number of performers or groups. My 5 year old daughter with a group of about 25 kids will be singing Christmas carols in Papiamentu, Dutch, Spanish and English. Those little kids are amazing.

Thanks for posting the photos. It rivals some of the homes that we see up here in the NY metro area. Some displays here are so big people start putting them up in October. Happy Holidays.

Boy I am glad to see that the children are still singing around Christmas time. That was one of the things we REALLY liked when we came to Bonaire for Christmas/new Years. And now that we come at a different time, we miss that.

wow, they keep getting better each year. Very pretty, well done!
Gonna go over and see this for real tonight. Drove by there during the day yesterday. Not only does the house look very very different at night with all those little lights on.... also during the day it takes on a different appearance. It's for the most part boarded up with black plywood with loads of small holes to stick the lights through.

And this wonderfully lighted house also made a full color back page of Extra (local paper) on January 6th. As well as apearing on another web site http://www.planetchristmas.com/pictures_2000.htm
Thanks to Ellen Muller for spreading the good cheer.

We also got a nice plug for our very own BonaireTalk newsgroup as a place to view great pictures of the house.
