We would like to rent and automatic car while in Bonaire. We are considering Everts and Avis, and Highway. Does anyone have experience with these agencies? We would like to go with Everts, however I have not heard any information about them. Thanks

It is one of the smaller private agencies here. Did you also find any info on National? Most of the agencies do not have a lot of automatics, so better make your preference clear when you reserve. Also, Budget is back and has a fleet of Brand New Cars.

I am delighted to learn that budget has reopened. I only hope it is under new management but with maany of the outstanding and friendly people who use to work there. Can someone please provide the new telephone number, FAX and e-mail for budget. I especially need their fax number. Also, while I am here, but on a totally different subject....how is the "beach" at pink beach? It was non-existant at Christmas and little better when we were last there at mid-march.

We used Everts this year, and were very satisfied. We only got a small Kia (I think), but it was more than adequate for two non-divers. We switched it for a four week drive for the day we went to the park, and just paid the difference in the cost for that day.

Nice people to work with, good prices. I don't know how much of a car selection they had, but they had what we needed.

Is it better to travel with a car or a bike in Bonair? We were pondering which one to bring.

Glad to report that the north end of Pink Beach has some soft patches of sand. The beach is returning. Palm trees still there. We spent many nights stargazing there.
