Question for anyone who might know:

Is it possible to get around Bonaire on a scooter, or is a car a necessity in order to see the island? We've lived in Italy, so we're used to the moped life and truthfully, we can't wait to get back in the breeze, but in looking at the Bonaire websites, it seems that some of the roads might be a little rough.

Any advice?

The bar at Lac Bay would be a little rough, go there on Sunday afternoon.
The park would also be too rough.
All the dirt roads. LOL.
Other than that I would think a moped would be just fine.
Have fun, maybe rent a car for just a couple of days.

I'm sure they would be fun, Carolyn, but not such a hot shore diving transport.
Maybe a three wheeler for a day or two, after all, you ARE on your HONEYMOON, pretend you still like the guy!
