Hello,

We're currently planning our first trip to Bonaire for 12 days (Apr 10-22) and would appreciate some insight as to the best vehicle choices for a family of 5.. we'll be travelling together often and have gear for 4 divers. I am not sure whether to go van or truck.

I vote for 4-dr pickup truck...plenty of room for you all and the gear, and can go anywhere on the island. We've used one successfully on every trip.

I would say (like Robert) a pickup with a double cabin. We had a Toyota Hilux, Double Cabin & Airco last nov. There's certainly enough room for 5 people and their dive-gear!
The pickup is just much better for driving around the island.
