Okay, besides fabulous dinners what else is there to do in Bonaire at night. Is there a movie theater? Or club music? Or???????? Not that I will be doing any of it, I am the original in bed by 9pm guy when I am diving, but if I feel frisky some night, I would like to know the options.

I truly hope that I get to meet some of you when I am on the island. All of the help and wonderful advice that I have gotten here deserves a round of drinks for someone! Only two weeks to go before I board the plane!!

Thanks all

i think you may be going to bed early a lot...diving is tiring;-)

there is a movie theatre and a disco that never seems to be open...not a lot of activity but maybe i miss it - falling asleep after dinner...

have fun! (diving anyway)

You can catch the 645/7pm shows at the movie theater 2 screens, closed Tuesday nights.

There is usually some live music playing somewhere every night. Pickup an "Update" and a "Bonaire Reporter" once you get here to find out what is happening that week.

For early birds, try Sunday afternoon at Lac Bay for the BBQ and music.

Linda, you forgot about going out to the airport and watching the arrival and departure of the KLM 747... now THAT is exciting..

you can also go to the casino next to the Divi and donate a few dollars. Not a lot of action there, but it's something different to do. After diving and seeing a beautiful sunset, bed will probably be inviting.

I have to agree with Lorraine, a night on the beach accompanied by some good refreshment is a great idea (especially on Bonaire)!! :)

Failing that, try and catch the party bus.... if you can.. not sure whether tourists can go on it, looks like fun though..

I must tell you the shooting star idea is very appealing. I love to lay out in a dark place and watch the lathe of heaven move forth through the night. Here in the urban world it is rare for the denizens to gaze upon an inky sky.

I don't travel alone very much and I guess I am trying to nip any loneliness in the bud. The diving will make me tired I am sure, but there is just something about the nightlife....

The bar at the Mona Lisa always seems pretty active...doesn't seem to be just couples.

We love to walk out on the Town Pier at night...if there are divers under the pier doing a night dive its fun to watch or bring a flashlight and see what you can find in water... walk along the new harbor walkway..night dive or snorkel....go for ice cream at Lovers ice cream shoppes..there are two..plenty of FREE slide shows at each of the resorts, different nights of the week..check the schedule handed out for tourist info..especially like the one @ Sand Dollar dive shop outside like a drive in theater w/ Sipkes' photos and talk very interesting, also Dee Scarr Touch the Sea slide show...Karls bar on the waterfront always had plenty of people watching /action...we play cards, drink Amstel and never sleep so well as in Bonaire ..outside all day and all that fresh air, diving,,..hate for the day to end
