Does anyone have recent[latest] photos and/or info on the rebuilding of Sandollar, etc. dive/restaurant situations?

Unfortunately there is no news about the Green Parrot Restaurant rebuilding as of yet. The restaurant just south of Sand Dollar Condos is Den Laman and they have opened now for lunch as well as dinner. The new dive shop is also located right near there backed up to the Sand Dollar Condos fence. I posted this picture of the new Sand Dollar Dive and Photo Shop which I took on January 12, 2000.

Linda it looks like Andre can drive right up to his new building now? Is it located on the Sand Dollar Resort grounds?

Yes, he can. For those that know the layout. You take the road from the rotary that goes to Sunset Beach Hotel and Den Laman restaurant. The new shop is on the right as you are facing the restaurant. This is the "back gate" of Sand Dollar Condo which is located near their public bathrooms and the stairway to the little beach. So while it is not on Sand Dollar Condo property, it is less than a stone's throw away. It is really more convenient for picking up tanks for shore diving.
