I've just spent an hour searching the keyword hiking and haven't come up with much useful information. We're looking for paths or backroads for easy walks. We've done the flat path in the park a few times and walked around the east side near the Indian inscriptions. I understand Gotomeer is a good place to walk and we will try that this time. Any other suggestions?

Bonnie: If memory serves me correctly, I believe right behind the Grotto of Lourdes in Rincon was a nice hiking trail. Perhaps someone else can chime in on this. I was on the path for a brief stretch and it looked interesting.

look for the marked mountain bike trails...also be aware that sometimes dogs are roaming and you may need to be prepared..

Thank you. The dogs are what make walking around the neighborhoods so unpleasant. I may be sorry I asked this, but how does one prepare to meet roaming dogs? The ones behind the fences seem pretty fierce.
