Since nowadays it is almost all about crime and related issues why not add the scam at pomp mentor which seems to be going on for a while now.
This gas station is located on the kaya Korona. They scam tourists with stating that their prices are in US$ instead of the Antillian Guilder.
A few of our guests where cheated out of money in this way over the last few weeks and I would like to suggest that this gas station should be avoided by everybody as per direct. I will definitely include that info in our hotel orientation!! Name and shame, why not!!!
Our law-enforcement department seems to be quite busy lately and a small crime like this may not be high priority and is kind of hard to prove anyway. Avoiding completely may be sufficient enough since it is very unlikely that they will stay open then...... Let them feel the consequences of their actions promptly and directly!!

It would make more sense to contact the owners, Curoil, who have their office at Hato so they can take action.

True Madman. The posting happened out of frustration. Meanwhile I have been brought in contact with Curoil (thanks Poppy!) and, roughly, explained what has happened.

No thanks, Menno. All I did was sending the post to Curoil so they can take action. And when I e-mailed you I mentioned that I did contact Curoil for them to take action.
Curoil need to know the facts so they can investigate who is doing this.
This is not done or approve by the management.
It is clearly that one or more employee is doing this, and they need to be stopped.
Hope that with our contribution, this will stop.
Poppy
