Back in June Ron Gould posted the following:

Poppy, at Telerin Car Rental will take good care of you. She will meet you at the airport with your trucks, and handle everything needed. She is a doll, and has unpeckable costomer service.

Does Telerin Car Rental have a website with rates and vehicle information or is information only available by telephone and E-mail?

Likewise, my search on Google didn’t come up with any direct site. This one on tourismbonaire. com was about the closest.

Telerin doesn't have a website. Email her and ask for her best price. She will meet you at the airport coming and going. Great service, and with a smile... Ron

How does one pay her? Cold cash or does she take credit cards? Just curious, I have my own truck on island, but thought it would be good to know just in case.

She is great! Picking up and returning the car was by far the easiest and most pleasant car rental experience I have ever had. On Bonaire or anywhere else.

I E-mailed Poppy yesterday afternoon at marcolva@hotmail.com and received back a complete set of answers including insurance, vehicle types, and prices early in the evening. Great customer service! ...Bill

I rented from her last month and it was the easiest rental experience I've ever had. My only problem was since I was traveling alone, I had to park outside the airport and drag my bags across the parking lot, at 4:30 am.... as I could not drive up and just leave them while I parked the truck. That kind of sucked, but again, Poppy was AWESOME. Wouldn't hesitate a moment to use her in the future.

So it seems folks like Poppy and Telerin car rental. Two questions.

1. Does Poppy rent Jeeps/trucks? We really want to go to the park again, and will need one.

2. Does Poppy rent automatic vehicles? It's been 30 years since I drove a standard shift and I don't want to pay for a new transmission! (we rented an automatic truck from the Hertz kiosk at Divi last time).

Thanks in advance! Can't wait to get back to Bonaire!

Michael
We always rent a truck from Poppy but not with automatic transmission. I don't know if she has them available.

Chris

I have been going to Bonaire for over fifteen years and just rented from Poppy for the first time last week.

All I can say is: wow! Great customer service. Poppy was waiting for us as we got of the 0430 redeye. All the paperwork was done with no standing in line for an hour (like Budget). Poppy even followed us to our rental apartment to make sure that we could get in. (didn't rent apt. from her)

Someone backed into the bumper of the truck when it was in the parking lot and one call to Poppy; she answered her cell phone right away, and the situation was taken care of.

I even got an email checking to make sure I made it home OK.

I have rented from several companies over the years but this was by far the best experience.

I would love to rent from Poppy, but unfortunately they have no automatic shift cars, and it's been way too long for me to drive a shift (I only practiced once or twice 30 years ago). I'll probably end up with Hertz, since I know they have automatics. If I can learn to drive a stick before I go, however, it's Poppy all the way!
