be aware that we are approaching the rainy season! You can call Bonaire Bike Shop 560 7000 http://www.thebikeshop.nl/ Their site is in Dutch but they do speak English...

I suggest a bicycle to see scenery in open air.

Sandy, go for it and have fun. I'll be renting a motorcycle while I am there. Yup, love seeing the country while out in the open with wind in my face and bugs in my teeth.

Bonnie: I am too lazy to ride a bike. I need wheels and an engine so Tom, I will go for it. As for the bugs, no problem..........Protein. I really want to ride out to Rose Inn to get my Goat Stew and see a couple of donkeys on the way.

Sandy, you didn't have to explain anything to anyone. You asked where to rent an A.T.V., nothing more. The bugs/protein are a bonus, don't forget your toothbrush and floss for the wings tho. :-) I hope you enjoy your vacation and your ride(s).

Sandy, be very careful if you rent an ATV. In vacation destinations all over the world, rented ATVs are frequently involved in accidents, sometimes sadly fatal. They don't necessarily handle as well as people expect them to, and can be unstable on bends on poor road surfaces. Treat it with the utmost respect and you should be OK.

Peter, I was not going to say it but glad you did. If you are not experienced with an atv, scooter, etc. please take care. We have had our share of mishaps! Thanks for the reminder!

Thanks Peter and Michael

I will be careful. I drive very cautiously anyway. Having grown up on Nantucket Island, I know how crazy some folks can drive on narrow streets, back roads etc. Thanks again for your concern.
