When accessing the forums, I read about different places and would like to know what they look like (I've probably passed by, but never identified them.) There are lots of pictures of the dives sites, but if we could put a decent picture of common-place places - I put Lisa gas in - it would help people like me and those never been to Bonaire and will come some day.

What market is that next to the ice cream shop?
How close is this area to Capt. Don's, is it walking distance?
One more question does anyone know how many computers are at the chat and browse and how busy or backed up they get?
Thanks for the info!

And the market next to the ice cream shop is (or at least was) called Sand Dollar Grocery. It's a little grocery/convenience market and they have lunches too. And a few bottles of vino or a cold bright or polar if the need so arises...

Is this center close to Capt. Don's? Walking distance? Need to walk off the ice cream I plan on eating.... Not to mention the use of a computer every now and then to let my husband know what he is missing!

Just right for the ice cream.

And you can work your way between the two along the ocean, maybe with short inland excursions between properties. At least that was so the last time I was on island.

There is walking access between Capt. Don's and Buddy Dive, but not from Buddy Dive to Sand Dollar. Walk along the water at Capt. Don's, pass through on the walkway to Buddy's, go through the old Lion's Dive side of Buddy's, hang a left at the outdoor pool bar, and head up to the road by Buddy's front desk. It is about a five minute walk on the sidewalk next to road to Lover's.
