Just wondering if the electrical current in Bonaire is the same as that in the US?

No, our electricity is 127 volt, 50 cycle - 220/50 is also available. It means that anything with a motor can run hot unless stepped down with a transformer. If you need to recharge anything like a razor or batteries, you should check with the hotel. Dive shops usually have something set up to accommodate recharging.

Well most of the time it is 127 +/- but this weekend I had any where from 0 to 28 volts to 133 thank goodness for voltage stabalizers/surge protectors both Sat. and Sun.

When explaining the 127/50 to us when we first went to Bonaire, Jake mentioned that the electric company "is occasionally a bit generous with the power". Walt, that might explain your 133... :)
