Cycling will be my only form of transportation while in Bonaire for 25 days. That would make renting two for that long quite expensive. Does it cost a lot to fly with a bike? Or is there a local who want to lend/rent out his/her bike?

Check with your airline agent, I am sure they have transported bikes, you will also need to get insurance on the bike.
