On 25 cruises, this will be my first time to Bonaire. We will be visiting Bonaire on our cruise on this December and we would like to know if there some interest things that we can go and see near the port or someone of you can help us about getting a shore excursion around the island and what to see. At this moment we are a group of 9.

Thank you for your help.

Lillian

Hi Lillian, Welcome to BT! You are in for a treat coming to Bonaire. Usually, when a cruise ship comes into port, there are many taxi vans, which can hold 9 easily on shore waiting to take anyone from the ship who would enjoy a land tour of the island. Check out this website: http://www.InfoBonaire.com.
It is loaded with lots of info on Bonaire and things to do. The cruise ships come into port in the Kralinjik (sp) downtown area and there is a nice art gallery in town to stop in a see and a few shops to shop at, not a big town in any means, you can see all the shops in an hour or so. Nice little restaurants in town as well. Make sure to stop for an ice cream to cool off.

You will receive a full shore briefing aboard the ship and can choose from loads of activities. Also the park just off the arrival area is generally filled with local artists, etc.
