Can anyone give me detailed directions to Semperflorens Nursery? Is it close to Capt. Don's place? Also, is there a nursery on EEG Blvd? exactly where? and what is the name of it? Thanks for any help.

On EEG Blvd. is Always Green, a small nursery, and yard maintenance business. I've had bad luck finding it open, even when its sign says it should be. You might want to call ahead. The owner, from Venezuela, does speak English. If she isn't there, I believe Spanish is the language spoken by her staff.

Always Green Nursury is just past the Great Escape when coming from the airport going south. It is right on your left hand side of the road. The phone number there is 717-8747. Owner's name is Stefanie Windyga. Suggest calling for her hours of operation or if you want to make an appointment with her.

Thanks for the info. Any ideas on Semperflorens Nursery, anyone? I'm looking for artemisias/succulents & such. Better yet, does anyone know of a group of gardeners that does a plant swap. I checked on www.gardenweb.com for a Bonaire group and didn't find one. I'm just a visiting relative so wouldn't be able to organize it but it's a great way to get new & different plants for free.

this is an old add I have found in the Bonaire Reporter:
SEMPERFLORENS NURSERY for healthy, strong, affordable plants all grown on Bonaire. Also landscaping. Follow signs starting in front of Lagoen Hill. Tel.+599-790-3348

If Stefanie's not in and you need help talking to her staff, just come over. If I'm not overwhelmingly busy I'll send one of my front desk girls over to help.
