Good Morning

I will be in Bonaire in Feb. for my first trip and I wanted to see if I needed an international drivers license or if my U.S. license will do?

I appreciate your assistance.

Aron: No need for an international driver's license. Your Iowa one will do just fine for your vacation.

I thought that Bonaire said no more drivers from Iowa... any other state would be fine though so if you have say a Nebraska or Illinois one that should be OK.

I now copy my driver's license, passport, credit cards, dive certs, and park tag rec't, and make hard copies before I go. that way I can toss a xeroxed drivers license in my glove box and not worry about it. I bet if you had it in a plastic sleeve the cops would not know the difference.

I think they've heard that it's really the Iowa drivers making the crop circles - not the aliens...

Might need to cross over the border in to Missouri and grab a drivers license from Wal-Mart before you go.

I live next door in Nebraska - so I know why Bonaire does not accept drivers licenses from Iowa! :-)
