What is the news about Netty of Netty's car rental leaving Bonaire? My husband and I have reservations to rent a truck from Netty in October. We received an e-mail from Netty this morning stating that she is leaving Bonaire, but our reservation is okay. Is she selling her car/truck rental business or is it closing? We would like some more information. We may need to rent a truck elsewhere.

We just came back a week ago and rented from Netty for the 3 weeks we were there. She told us she is selling or renting or leasing her company, which will still keep her name. She is returning hone to Holland after 17 years on the island.

If she says the business will be there and a vehicle will be there for you, you can trust her. She has always been good to her name. I would email her for more clarification, as you are understandably concerned. Lydia

Any update on the transfer to a new owner? I am getting nervous about our reservations. I checked around a little about another truck but haven't had any luck. We arrive 12/27 and its a busy time on the island.
