What is the cheepest point from which to freight a vehicle to Bonaire?

I am moving my wife and two girls to the island for a few years.

I wonder if a car is even needed? Or perhaps I should buy one from the island?

A car is a necissity. If you do bring one from another country, make sure it can be reapired here. Toyotas, etc. are the easiest and chepaest. No Mercedes, Cadillacs of Jags...It may be a better idea to buy one here. There is quite a market presently...(If you do ship a car and you are moving here and have a household allowance, then it could be put in the container)
