We just returned from a two week trip to Bonaire.
We had great meals at the Mona Lisa and the Beefeater and would go back to either anytime. Lunch is good for sandwiches and salads at the Beach Bar at Jibe City.

I agree. The Beefeater is excellent. I usually don't experiment too much with food, but I tried the cabrito (goat) years ago and have to go back several times with each visit to Bonaire...it's marvelous. Richard and Brigitte are a delightful couple (they own the restaurant) and do an excellent job with both their cordiality and their menu. The garden is a lovely atmosphere in which to enjoy your meal. The waitresses (I wish I could remember their names) have been there for quite a few years and are a pleasure to see each time we go there. This restaurant is one of my favorites.

Also, don't forget Maiky Snack (in the middle of the island, off the road to Sorobon) for great local food --- good, large portions and inexpensive. We find often one order is enough for the two of us, unless we're especially hungry.
