I just got back from Bonaire 5 days ago. I ate at both places.
As some of you know I meant to book my group to Croccantino's, but took them to Capriccio's by mistake.
Well, Capriccio's was wonderful. The service for a group of 22 of us was fast, and the food was hot and good. Everyone had a wonderful time.
But my heart was on going to Croccantino's and having the creamy lasagna. Following is the Croccantino story.

I walked into Croccantino's the day after we ate at Capriccio's.
A man and woman were sitting at a table talking. The place was open, but didn't seem open for busines yet.
I said, "Hi, I would like to make reservations for a small group. I must have the creamy lasagna again." The man turned to me and said,"You must be Natasha Newman." Well, I just about fell through the floor. Someone in Bonaire a local, knew me? How?
He said he was Andrea one of the owners of Capriccio's and was sitting in Croccantino's because he and Elizabeth were friends. (Still with me? )
He read on this board about my getting the two places mixed up. We all laughed and I came back to eat the next day.
Elizabeth treated us like royalty. She had some special things she let the group eat, like a salmon pate, and even took the special of the day, linguini with lobster, and let us have a small portion before our main course.
Of course I had the creamy lasagna and it was wonderful.
The tiramisu was out of this world.
A fantastic time. Next year when we come back, we will just have to go to both restaurants again.
Thank you Elizabeth and Andrea.
PS Could one of you change the name of your restaurant? The Cro, and the Cap are just too easy to mix up. Heheheh

Well:
It seems I can't even follow my own adventure story.
It was Moreno that was in his restaurant, talking to Elizabeth. But he is the husband of Antonella, one of the owners of Capriccio's.
I think I've got it now! (Light bulb going off in my head)
And I agree with you all. Both places were excellente.
PS. We ordered 21 pizzas from Rum Runners Friday night, and they were wonderful.
Great food on Bonaire. And the tap drinking water was very tasty. Side note, I'm very picky about my drinking water ..and this stuff was GOOD.

Herman:
Hi Dear. Maybe you should explain why I'm called Mom, eh? And tell Kathy Hi from me.
I just posted a great picture of Elizabeth bringing out my tiramisu. It's on my web site, under "Bonaire Pictures."
Check it out and let me know what you think.
