had a group of 12 friends staying at Belmar and they wanted to eat out together. I called Giby and he had them to his home and they had choice of steak, shrimp, fish, local food. He started them with a great dinner salad and had homemade cherry cheese cake for desert. The all loved it! On Friday they had an Indonesian Ristaffel at Norka's Cafe..she is above the Botica on Kaya Grandi...Another hit. If you do want to bring a small or large group for dinner, you do need to call in advance.

Tell me more about the ristaffel! How many can they seat? Is it air-conditioned?

Eating at Giby's home is very special, his home cooked food (especially the cheesecake, which we ordered ahead of time as a birthday cake!) is prepared with that island touch and lots of love! His hospitality, no matter how large or small your group, is truly Bonairian!

Norka can seat as many as needed. She cooks the Risttaffe to order. No AC but very open and comfortable surroundings. I can put you in touch if you would like her number..bon apetit!
