I am heading down to Bonaire in July and planned on eating with Santa Clause at the Garden Cafe at least a couple of times. Can anyone, Michael, let me know if the restaurant is still open and if Santa Clause still owns it.

Santa is still on the island. He has a farm and i don't know what he's raisin. try to contact him when on the island maybe he is willing to cook some for you when here

What's happened to the tequila enterprise, do you know?

Such a nice man...I hope whatever he's doing, it's going well for him. He'd said he was going to put all the Garden Cafe stuff in storage and think about if he wanted another restaurant before he washed his hands of it all...wonder if he did that....

We had diner with him last year at Cap's. He's making Cactus liquor.

The last I talked to him, getting a big enough distillery to make the enterprise commercial seemed to be his stumbling block. Has he done that, or is this in the hobby phase?

He gave me a little TekiBon bottle as a souvenir....still have it: it still smell like liquor....

I love the people in Bon ... they are so helpful. Michael, Hilary and I will definitely come by the chat n browse while we are there this time. Looking forward to seeing you again.
