The discussion on Bris de Mar got me thinking about Bongos - a real favorite of ours on our last trip.
I did a search and it appears that Bongos is no more, but it sounded like the "Hut" is still there. Do they still serve food? Do they get packed when the cruise ships are in?
Any updates would be appreciated.

The beach gets packed when cruise ships are in....they bus them there. Not sure if the "Hut" gets a lot of bus from them or not..

It is called Eden Beach now and is part of Eden Resort. Obviously it was too succesful and Henk couldn't rent it anymore.
He owns Senses now. Close to Plaza.
It is absolutely not the same anymore. It's gone.... Yeah the Hut is still there, that's about it :-(

Well, that's bad news. Bongos really had the true beach bar atmosphere.
