Returning to Bonaire at the end of Janurary for the fifth time. Never came across this place. Heard lots about it and want to give it a try this year. Where exactly is it?

John - where are you staying? That may make it easier to tell you but it isn't hard to find at all. If you are staying up north (Sand Dollar, Buddy Dive, Capt don's, et) it is on the road going north toward the hotels on the right hand side. It has a stop light on it's sign. Others could tell you what is on the other side of the road too.

John, Pasa Bon Pizza is SOUTH of the traffic circle, on the east side of the street. Right next door to Bistro De Paris(south) Kaya Gob N Debrot is the main drag that it is located on. There is a Stop sign in front of the place, but it dosen't work. (it is the only stop sign on Bonaire) The food is good, but you should call and make a resevation. 780-1111

Thanks all. I know where Bristo De Paris is now-made a note of it last year. We will try both of them out this year. I'm not too familiar with the eateries north of Kralendijk, as we stay at the Plaza resort and eat in town or at the restaurants that are between town and the Plaza.

Is this a good place to have a group dinner and is it good?

It's casual low-price good, yes.
But they are SLOW getting a simple pizza made and brought out to you, the two times I've been there...

What are some other alternatives for group dining besides pizza?? - don't want to spent lots of dollars though. Our group totals 16.

16 is big.
Maybe best to pick a night when a resort is having their BBQ buffet night. You just serve yourself and arrange the tables to fit your group somehow...

Do make a reservation with a group or even without a group. They get a crowd almost every night. 780-1111

we have had groups of up to 20 there and have had great service. we make reservations all the time, if it's just the two of us or a big group. that goes for about any restaurant on bonaire. can't hurt.

i haven't noticed the service being slow. we don't expect to be served within minutes and can just keep ordering beers till the pizza gets there. i'm hoping to be eating there on feb. 6

Pat, Make some reservations for the 4 of us. Once we are eating pizza at Pasa Bon I know we are REALLY on Bonaire.

Pamela.

Pasa Bon is brilliant. Joe is a great host and Lisa a great cook. For large groups, definitely book in advance as the place is popular.

As far as the speed of service is concerned, I find it to be perfect. Some people want their food in front of them as soon as they sit down. For some, a trough would suit better.

Enjoy the atmosphere, enjoy the music and enjoy the amazing pizza. If you want poor food quickly, there are many take-aways that can provide that service.

constance, call us with your arrival date and time...i'll make sure we eat there that day. but i'll have to go there a few times before your arrival just for quality control purposes...not because i could eat there all the time...nope, just for quality checks.

Great food this year at Pasa Bon Pizza...if you can stand the wait and burned crust on your pizza! The owner needs some better direction with his staff. He's got a real problem with always apologizing to everyone for all of his mistakes!
