Normally when we visit Bonaire, we travel with our four children so we don't eat out much. This past visit, however, gave us the opportunity to try out many of the restaurants we had heard about in Bonaire. Our best experience this visit was Bistro de Paris. The owner, Patrice, offers incredibly delicious food with excellent service at a reasonable price. We went back three times in one week because we were so impressed with the quality of the ingredients and preparation. What a tasty treat! Can't wait to go back!

We couldn't agree more Elizabeth - we love Bistro de Paris too! Patrice is an amazing restauranteur. Funny, we also usually end up there three times during a week

It is one of the places that Kathi and I also frequent, both for lunch and dinner.

It is a great owner operator place , Bonaire is blessed with a few such restaurants . It is such a change of pace from our franchised alternatives up north .

Jim got us turned on to the Bistro. Patrice and the food are great. We try to eat there several times on each visit. Just an all around nice place.

Jeff, how was your trip? I was in DC yesterday, freezing my cajones off all day.

Hey Jim, trip was very good. Two weeks keeps getting shorter and shorter. I was in my DC office yesterday and it was definately cold. Frozen cajones aren't covered by insurance anymore, by the way.

Patrice is a person with true flair. I have never seen another french restaurant that highlights a wine labled "Arrogant Frog". He executes both food and maitre'd with such panache it is a true experience.

Is this restaurant near the Harbour Village Resort? Also, does anyone know if you are not staying at the Harbour if you can still book a massage?

Brenda they're very close. Maximum 3 min drive or 7 minute walk. Not sure about the massage but there is an excellent masseuse near Chat & Browse (opposite end of the shopping center)

I read all these posts with interest. Unfortunately I find it very over rated.

Trevor..rest assured it certainly would not be the first time that folks disagree with respect to restaurants (or many other things for that matter). Everyone has different opinions which is why I'm a big fan of forming your own opinions based upon your personal experiences.
