Just had to post this for you all. I just got back from eating some awesome, did I say awesome pizza from Pasa Bon. :-)

A new pizza was making it's debut tonight and we got the fourth one out of the oven. MMMMMMMMM! Yumo! It is actually a new FISH pizza, this pizza has homemade basil/pesto sauce, fish, asparagus, red onions, mozzerella and shaved parm. cheese. That is out of this world delish! Lisa really outdid herself with this new creation and I see this as being a regular on the menu in the future.

Gregg, Brandon and I dined with Krispi, Ken, and AnneMarie. It was their first time at Pasa Bon and they really enjoyed their pizza too and service was wonderful. Joe was as charming as ever and he kept the Brights flowing and pitchers of water on the table.

Started off with their garlic cheesy bread which I look forward to each trip. It did not disappoint, gone seconds after it arrived at the table.

Lisa and Joe have a winner with this new fish pizza for sure. Thanks for making our dinner a wonderful and tasty experience! :-)

I will add that this is the first time I ever ordered fish pizza, was a little leery of fish on pizza, but this combo really rocks. We will be back.

So how is this "new" fish pizza different from the "old" Pasa Bon fish pizza?

We had first tried and enjoyed the old fish pizza several years ago, and like you Debbie, were a little leery of ordering it, but did. Like all other pizzas we have had at Pasa Bon, we enjoyed it immensely. And not being very big eaters, we usually get to enjoy every pizza we have ordered there twice - once the night we have eaten it at the restaurant, and then again the next day, either for lunch or dinner. Lisa, Joe and their staff do a great job.

Dr. Director, This pizza has no red sauce, only the basil/pesto sauce. There is also only the ingredients I listed above on it. The "other" fish pizza had olives and I don't like olives. Not sure what else was on it as I never ordered it cause of the olives.

Thanks Debbie. I remember the olives now, because we asked Joe to have them left off. He told us he would ask Lisa because she usually did not make changes and fortunately she agreed. We truly enjoyed the pizza. Looking forward to the new version.

I understand that Pasa Bon Pizza is up for sale. Have they found a new owner yet? My boyfriend and I would love to buy it and live on Bonaire...if only we had the finances. :-(

Does Pasa Bon serve any foods other than pizza? And if so, can you recommend anything in particular? Pizza is a little too heavy for our eating plan. Trying to keep those pounds off...even on vacation...

Pasa Bon does great lasagna. Their veggie version is excellent. For something lighter, they do have a main course house salad which is always fresh and plentiful.

Hi F.Keaton,
Have you ever tried ordering pizza without cheese.
Down in south Italy in a small village called Vico Equense is the pizza university. There is a pizza called pizza rosso. The topping is only fresh tomato sauce. I don't know the secret of the tomato sauce but I can tell you the pizza stole my heart.
To bring your appetite back to light order your pizza senza fromaggio(without cheese) and order your own topping.

Yep...had that molten chocolate cake. Last Bite Bakery makes it as well. Mmmmmm.... But it is NOT waistline-friendly!

Vincent.

A friend of mine does not like cheese and so used to order pizza without.

As Pasa Bon makes everything fresh, everything is possible.

Actually, where we live in New York, it's very common to order pizza without cheese.
Today, you can get any kind of topping, all you have to do is ask.
Although it may not sound appealing, one of the best pizzas around is the tuna fish pizza.
Thin crust, thin layer of sauce, freshly made tuna, thin sliced tomato, shredded lettuce, and a bit of oregano. It's served cold and it's a little slice of pizza heaven.

Vincent.

Despite wishing Joe & Lisa every happiness for the future, I echo your sentiments.

We love Pasa Bon Pizza and the wonderful, funky atmosphere that Joe and Lisa have developed! This is one of our favorite places to eat on Bonaire! It is always so consistent and as someone said earlier, the food is always so fresh! We have heard so much about the fish pizza, we are going to have to try it when we are there in Oct. Joe and Lisa work very hard to provide the wonderful food that all of us hungry divers love!
We agree with Vincent...we hope Pasa Bon Pizza will be in Bonaire forever!!! We love you Joe and Lisa!
