I know this is an old topic and I honestly tried to research it before bothering you all. What happened to the Swiss Chalet Restaurant? I have been to Bonaire 8 times and loved that place - the owners were great. Obviously I have not been to Bonaire in a few years but am planning a trip in Dec - when I tried to find info on Swiss Chalet it is no where to be found. I hope the owners won the lottery and are living happily ever after. If someone knows the story I would appreciate any info.

I know they closed the restaurant, and a bar did open. I am not sure what happened to the owners, or if the bar is still open.

It's now called "Lees" and they have big screen TV to watch games and such. Suzie is out of the restaurant bus I believe.

Suzy is now running the resort at Blue Divers. That gives me front row access to Noldy's rosti which I am addicted to :-) Feel free to stop by any time Monday through Saturday to say hi.

I remember passing Swiss Chalet many times when I lived on Bonaire. For a long time we didn't go in because, to be honest, it didn't look that great.

Bas, is there a restaurant at blue divers, or is it just a dive shop and she makes the rosti for you?

Tink, I know of a place in Aurora and another one in Geneva, that make outstanding Rosti!

The Geneva Diner (14 S 2nd St). They use a secret code-word for Rosti, lest they get crowded. Ask (with your voice hushed down a bit) for hash browns.

Mel's good too I love Geneva. Can you tell me of a more quaint, peaceful, picturesque city in Illinois?

No restaurant at Blue Divers. Noldy makes me the rosti at his home when we have dinner there. Maybe I have to engage in a small side business with Suzy and start offering dive trips with rosti after the dive
