Haven't been back to Bonaire in two years so maybe they aren't new. Passed a place called Unbelievable today and also another place, Angel. Angel is on land but in an old boat. Has anyone eaten at either?

Crazy amounts of construction going on!

Karen:
My husband & I dined at Unbelievable several times on our vacation Jan/Feb this year & it was truly "unbelievable"!!!
Suggest you make reservations so that you can dine on their upper/balcony. Enjoy!!!

Chris

Luck you Karen! I forgot you were already on island. I thought Unbelievable opened up a few months ago. Some one did post about it and if I remember correctly, it was a favorable post. Never heard of Angel.

I hope to see you this trip!

angel is the old angel boat that used to be docked at town pier near the venezuelan fruit boat. i think it was called Angel Floating Restaurant...apparently not so seaworthy and they moved it to shore a year or two ago, renovated it on land, and opened it as a restaurant recently.

we ate at unbelievable this trip and loved it. we ate on the upstairs patio. good food, good service, great atmosphere.

Henk from former Bongos together with his friend Govert from Le Flamboyant also opened a new restaurant/bar opposite to the entry of Plaza next to tropical divers, place is called Zense. Have not been there yet. Am curious about their food, when it comes down to restaurants, its all about the food! Anyone dined there yet?

Other new restaurant is EL MUNDO on Wilhelmina Plaza, former Warung Louise (the Indonesian place), they advertise in serving dishes from around the world. Never tried that one as well.

My wife and I ate at "Unbelievable" back in November and everything - atmosphere, table settings, service, food, wine list, bar area, bathrooms.... was top notch. Only problem for me is when on vacation, and on an island I like to see the water, we ate inside but will go back.

Dinner for two was about $65 with drinks.

Unbelievable is on Kaya J. A. Abraham Boulevard, or close to the Divi but on the other side of the road heading towards town.

Unbelievable is easy to find. The oneway road that runs north to south in front of the Dive Inn. When on that road follow it south, and it will turn to the east, and end up on Kaya J. A. Abraham Boulevard. Across the street is the Unbelievable... Ron

PS Very good food and service

I had breakfast twice at Henk and Govert's place Sense. The setting is very chic. I had the Dutch pancakes with apple. Very good. Two friend dined with me for dinner. The waitress was fabulous. My friends loved their food very much. The bar area is very nice. I could imagine this place being a great hookah bar. Tres romantique!

:-)

Had two dinners at Unbelievable in March, great service, excellent food, check out the wine cart. The upper deck is the only place to go, would suggest reservations. It was recommended to us by our Dive Master from Divi, Gertje. Dinner for two with appetizers and wine approx. $75.00 U.S. great dollar value!!!
