I thought I read somewhere that some place was offering a 1 pound burger. Was that the Lion's Den? Can anyone confirm. I'd certainly love to try it someday :-).

And I have now "gone over to the other side"..
Yes it's true..
Now I put mayo on my fries.

Vince, the 1 pound burger is at Lion's Den. (Sat.)

Oh, and the burgers are done on a grill at Lion's Den and they are NOT at Sunset. Big difference in taste, so Lion's Den for the best ones, I have had both, even said something to Kirk, same meat, but the cooking is done not the same, hope Kirk gets a grill at Sunset too and then I can enjoy burgers at both places! :-)

Best burger I had so far was at the Buenos Aires Cafe downtown, big juicy burgers and fries, modest priced, additional to that, fresh juices and smoothies!

I had a great burger at Papaguyos. I'll be trying Buenos Aires this trip. They opened the day I flew out last trip.

Tina, get a time machine and go back to pre Lenny and have a burger at the Green Parrot. Admittedly finding the time machine will be tough, but the payoff will make it worth the effort.

Dean...That's really not fair, not fair, not fair.. I have some fond memories of the Green Parrot and am sorry it was never restored. Used to love it there. :-)

Tribs you will not regret it, besides the good burgers at Buenos Aires, the staff is nice and attendant and I can also advice you warmly the grilled chicken.
Plazita Limena is also offering Burgers and Sandwiches and fresh smoothies and juices. When Im on Bonaire I mostly give them a hand in the evening, have never tried the Burgers, however, I am fond of how the kitchen is run and the skill Noemi (head chef) is putting into, so far, no food did ever return in a shift I was running. But yet they dont serve burgers at night.

I know I won't Silvia. I was sorry not to try Buenos Aires last time. We love Pablito and family! They are one of the few restaurant people we have met on Bonaire who always remember us and always make us feel welcome. It is amazing how well they treat their guests.

I am a big fan of Plazita Limena as well. I love their lunches!

Rum Runners gets my vote for best burger however I'm comparing to burgers I've eaten in other places than Bonaire. Try their burger with a grilled pineapple slice, yum

We thought the Cuban Sandwich at Buenos Aries was rather tasty. Never visit without at least one or more visits to Lions Den for the Burger.

Yeah, where's the good burger place in Curacao? And where's Buenos Aires? Are the owners really from Argentina?
