Does anyone know if there is a Subway on Bonaire? I had seen where there was one in the shopping mall area? Is it still there?

Yes, still there and open every day, I believe.

It goes from downtown to Rancon. You will need tokens.

Jerry: That is the "R Line". Don't forget the "S Line" that runs from just east of Town Pier all the way to Sorobon and Lac Bay. Tokens, last I knew, were only 1 guilder.

Maybe we should be posting this under the "Getting Around Bonaire" thread.

There is a side street across and just west from the CULTIMARA ( I'm sure that's spelled incorrectly), but it's the big grocery downtown. The "subway" is on the east side of the side street..my directions aren't the best...but it's easy to find! Good luck!
