We fly in to Bonaire next Saturday (can't wait!), and were looking for a good place to go for breakfast on Sunday. The only review I've seen for the place is for lunch, but it sounded good. Is their breakfast equally good? Any suggestions what to order for breakfast? How early are they open? Is the patio open at breakfast time? How's the view? Thanks!

Michael, they open at 8am, breakfast is good there, my in-laws had stopped there on their arrival day, great place for breakfast and lunch. View is waterfront, nice! Enjoy!
There is also City Cafe for breakfast right on waterfront too, just a stroll down from there. It is good too, I have enjoyed many a breakfast there.

Where is Buenos Aires Cafe? Do you think everything will be open, as normal, due to the Karnaval adult parade on that day (Sunday)? Just wondering...

Kate it's downtown on the waterfront, near where KFC used to be, across from Karel's. They also own Patagonia Restaurant.

No Kevin
Gone from the seaside mall yes. Now on Kaya Korona, near Kooymans if I remember correctly. She was not open yet in October when we were there.

Relocated & reopened KFC as of Dec 2, 2008. Whew! (and yes, across from Kooyman on Kaya Korona)

Also breakfast at Papagayo. Probably the widest choices and friendly service

I had an excellent breakfast there. (Papagayo) Not as big of crowd as City Cafe either.

Michael: Slightly off topic but DO NOT MISS the parade for Carnaval - it is JUST WONDERFUL! The people are so friendly - they gladly stop to let you snap a picture - the costumes have that terrific quirky "I made it myself" look - the parade is full of un-self-conscious joie de vivre. We have hundreds of fantastic pictures. Wish I was there!

Debbie B., thank you for the information about Buenos Aires Cafe. Do they have the "usual suspects"---eggs, ham, etc. for breakfast, or are there also some unusual offerings?
Patricia, yes, we are looking forward to seeing the adult Carnaval parade. Two years ago we were able to see the children's Carnaval parade and found it very enjoyable.

Michael, yes they have a nice breakfast selection, not sure what you mean by unusual, but it's all good. :-)
