Bonaire had the most delicious food I’ve had on my travels. So much to chose from.

Starting with Our Favorites:
Will’s Tropical Grill: Fresh, inventive menu in a courtyard setting. Wil came by our table to see how we were enjoying our meal. Great food and fun drink menu.
Le Flamboyant: We sat in the romantic garden setting in the back of the restaurant, lit by candles and torches. Delicious, unusual menu. Take your time, the service is good but slower than other places.
Capriccio: Nice setting with white tablecloths, excellent pasta, very nice owner
BobbaJan’s: Open Fri-Sun 6pm-10pm, and lunch Sundays. It’s a lively, mostly take-out very casual place. Best ribs we’ve ever had.
It Rains Fishes: Great location overlooking the marina. Modern, up-scale feel, but friendly. Live jazz the night we were there. Ceviche appetizer is hearty and very good.
El Fagon Latino: Small, local roadside place, good Columbian food reasonably priced. Easy to drive by and miss the restaurant (most of the sign is missing).
Mona Lisa: Tried 2 times to get a seat at the bar for the bar hap menu. Both times the bar was full, so we missed our chance. Very Dutch vibe there, dark and smoke filled bar area. Upbeat, lively crowd.
Cactus Blue: May have gone on an off-night, since the food and service was disappointing. My fish stew had many bones in it, and the lobster bisque was not very good. Seems like a fun place for groups to go to drink, since they sell buckets of beer.

Cheryl, sounds like good eating. I might suggest reservations for all at most places during high season. I have seen many get turned away from Mona Lisa. Their bar menu is perhaps one of the island's best dinner deals IMHO. What a fun dining experience. :-)
