What is the best way to make reservations there? I am guessing that we will need them, rather than just showing sort of spur of the moment, correct?

We always phone a few days ahead.

Call 717-5263 when you get here, phone is answered 5-10pm except Mondays when he's closed (FYI, pier table is not finished).

Reservations are always good, but in all the years we've gone to Bonaire, we've always gotten a table without difficulty. Richard is very accomodating.

Just made a reservation using Skype, Richard was his usual fun self and word is the pier table is unfortunately still under construction. We always make reservations for FRI/SAT/SUN nights, others we just walk in.

we make reservations almost all the time at all the restaurants. it doesn't take any extra effort to call them and it saves the problem of going to "plan b", especially if you are really hungry.

The pier does not exist...Omar ate it as an appetizer, unfortunately. Shame. Omar was very hungry and ate a lot of things we were used to using and seeing. cb
