New Years Eve Day find out when the Pagara is being held at City Cafe. Don't ask, just go with a video camera ready. It's usually around 2-3 PM. Habitat has an incredible fireworks display. Usually Buddy Dive has a huge party that goes into the wee hours as well.

Roy, you found Shelly's video and can hear us talking and laughing and coughing.."it's like a war zone"...What's really cool about this is the fire department and Selibon are right on hand to monitor and clean up..then, they move on to the other Pagara. It's very cool.

Annie you crack me up! New Year's eve is a blast on Bonaire. I've done it once top side, but if I get a chance, I'm going diving the next time. There were a considerable number of divers in the water during the fireworks. It must have looked incredible!

There is a big party at Salsa Restaurant from 10PM till 4AM with DJ's, Champagne and 'oliebollen' (a Dutch new years eve treat). Tickets are for sale at various places around town (eg City cafe, Havana, Salsa, Wattaburger and Plaza Resort). The past years there has also been a party at Buddy Dive. Not sure if that happens this year. Last year Lee's bar was also open...again not sure if that is the case this year.
