Is there a non-lobster season and when? You have to forgive my ignorance since I am a land locked Canadian (you can pick your friends but you can't pick where your parents have you). Alberta beef is fairly inexpensive but lobster can be pricey. A few years ago in Belize we experienced a Lobster off-season. It was illegal to even possess frozen lobster tails, is there an off season to lobster and when. Is lobster even available? If so can you get it just boiled nothing fancy.

Our lobsters can be ordered anytime but are very expensive! Caribben lobster is quite different than cold water lobster...taste, no claws, etc.
