Not sure about happy hour...but the lunches are great. You can order off the menu..or if you have a crowd...call ahead and they will make you a family style meal...REALLY good. Don't be in a rush...service is at a little slower pace up there!

Still dreaming of wind surfing...but I did get to ski today!

Some of the best food on Bonaire! What was up with the music? Every time I've been there they are playing Tony Bennett..really quiet!

SCUBA lessons yet?

Annie, did you pick up one of the Tee shirts at the Rose Inn?? I didn't realize they were selling them when we were there in May. I "discovered" it when I was looking at the photos I took that afternoon and saw one of them hanging by the bar...near where the painting is...and a classic painting it is, too! Next trip we will definitely pick up a few of the T's to bring home! I am going to try and resize this pic so it will fit on the board...it might come up small, however. CaroleRose Inn

Good, it worked! The Tee shirt is below and to the right of the painting behind the bar...classic painting! Just love it!! Joe had the goat and I had the Wahoo and it was truly superb! The place definitely has its own ambiance and flair! Carole

I saw no t shirts but will go back..

Scott, it was happy hour (Fridays at 7 PM) so they had a DJ kind of guy with MONSTROUS speakers playing so loud we could not really talk. I had to go DOWN the street to answer Bas's call on my cell phone (He wanted to do Chinese..too late Bassyyy)..

It was really good tho. I enjoyed the town..so much foliage...everyone very friendly but then again we were two chics and the only ones for that matter in the bar besides the cook..LOL...I enjoyed the chime of the church bell.

My dream is to LIVE on Bonaire so I can enjoy the simple pleasures such as this. As I drove along the shore route, Mags in the back of the pick up singing, I realized this is home. I want to contribute something I can offer here and also learn to slow down and get back to me...I pray God and the Goddesses open some wonderful door of op for me.

Peace

Annie
