Lola and her staff really outdid themselves last evening. We shared an appetizer of the carbonara. It was cooked perfectly al dente with a rich carbonara sauce.
My secondo piatti was osso buco. Again, excellent. Nina had beef tenderloin which had a port wine gorgonzola sauce cooked perfectly rare. Both served with polenta & assorted crispy cooked vegetables.
The meal ended with a nice glass of limoncello!

When we dined there last time, we split an appetizer of lasagna bolognese, and that unfortunately made our secondi anticlimactic. (I had the filet gorgonzola and wasn't as impressed with the quality of the beef, though I believe Janna enjoyed her wahoo). I wonder if I could order a pasta appetizer followed by a pasta entree? That lasagna was so good I can still remember it clearly a couple years later.

We'll eat there next week, so I'll find out!

Monday - Ann P. and I both had the James Bond Pasta - It comes with fish, scallops, shrimp and Calamari - We both asked them to hold the squid and scallops and double up on the shrimp and fresh tuna caught over the week-end. mmmmmm

hI pAT..Yea enjoyed it so much we did a repeat last evening and it was every bit as good. We were going to go there tonight but they are closed due to Bonaire day and all the motorcycles all over the island.
We got a lot done, and will be finally able to put our finishing touches on the website once I go through the photos.
