This is our third trip to Bonaire, and we finally found the Maiky Snack place. It is really off the beaten path! Unfortunately, however, it was closed. Didn't see any days or hours posted. Anyone know what they are?

We don't give up easily. We went to Maiky Snak today around 2 PM and had a delicious lunch! Don had the kabritu stoba (goat stew) and I had the yguana stoba (iguana stew). Both were fantastic! The meal came with rice and french fries, cucumber, and tomato. It was way more than what I could eat!

We ate there during our last trip in April and it was very good!!! It appears to be frequented by locals. We plan to go back in November.

I have followed the link to the information on the restaurant, and the map does not help me. Anyone have more detailed directions?

Drive to the big church (St.Bernadus) in town, take the road to the right which is Nikiboko Noord, you drive quite a while, after the last houses you pass a baseball field, a while after that you see on the left side a sign for Maiky Snack, its a dirt road ! Just follow the sign ...
