Upon the advice of someone on the forum, we went to Antriol Catering for some bonafide Bonarian food. I would highly recommend it. They kind of customized a plate for each of us that had a good variety of things on it. Stewed chicken with just a hint of curry in it, pork, barracuda with a delicious light sauce on in, banana (I imagine plantain) stoba (stew), rice, funchi, and homemade French fried potatoes, cucumber, tomato and some great hot sauce. Then we got a flan type dessert I think called casia or something like that. Oh, and three Polars. It was all just delicious. You can buy your food to take away or you can eat it there, which we did. We enjoyed talking to the waiter and the folks that run the place. I think the whole bill before tip was $37.

AC has excellent local food in an unpretentious atmosphere with inexpensive prices. I'm so glad they're doing dinners now.

I am so glad you had a chance to enjoy it there. The family has been working hard for a number of years and are a must for lunch or dinner at least once!

WE have been to Bonaire 2 times in the last 4 years and going again this coming spring and Antriol Catering is a must stop for us. We go 2 times each trip. I love watching Mom/Grandma/Daughter beating the daylights out of the conch to get it just right. Great stew and just some really great and humble people.

if you are going north or south on Kaya Korona, you take the turn off to the road to Lagoen Hills as you normally would. It is the third left (kaya Mariana) Go to the top of the hill and you will see small window. You need to walk to the back for the sit in restaurant or you order take out at the window...Bon Apetit!!
