Martin, we are coming to Bonaire in September. We will be looking forward to seeing your restaurant. Can people that are staying at Belmar come over for a drink during your open times?
Can you make just vegetarian meals?

We just tried to eat there last night. Our mistake...they are not open on Mondays. I will definitely try to stop there again.

We had dinner there last night and loved it. The atmosphere is soooo relaxed and the people could not have been friendlier. I had the chicken and my wife had the fish. Both were very good. Martin is a wonderful host. We could not have felt more welcome. Unfortunately, I can not comment on the desserts. There was so much food, there was no room. We will be back on our next trip to Bonaire.

I met the owners this past trip in February, Martin and Nicole? (I think that is his wife) were very nice and accommodating. Went for late night drinks after getting in on AA. Great way to start a vacation! :-)

Hi All! I got to meet the very nice and friendly Martin last night. Both myself and my dining partner ordered the roti. It was very good. This was my first time ordering it, so I have no comparison. Sorry. However, my dinner partner said it was very good and that she was planning on becoming a regular customer. :-) The ambience there is wonderful! This is definitely worth a visit.

I'd just like to say that I for one will miss the Great Escape.

I had a few good nights in there and in the early days, a few nice meals.

For a guy that doesn't drink, Kevin is most knowledgeable on what pleases bar flies like myself.

Good luck to the new owners but I for one will miss the craic with Kevin.
