I'm making my second trip to Bonaire in the last 6 months and these are my dining plans:

Sat - Bobbejan's BBQ
Sun - Capriccio
Mon - Wil's
Tue - Richard's
Wed - Warang Louise (can you suggest something better?)
Thr - El Fogon Latino
Fri - DBV BBQ

Lunches at Rose Inn and Bistro de Paris

Very excited to return to the beautiful island of Bonaire!

Give Bambu a try.

Bambu is very good I would also add It Rains Fishes, Mona Lisa and La Guerinca. For us I would swap Warung Louise for Palitza Limena they have very big spicy tastes.

I went to Mona Lisa last time and enjoyed it. I will look into It Rains Fishes and La Guerinca. Bambu looks good but perhaps too much effort on presentation for my taste. I want fresh fish with excellent preparation.

Mona Lisa is our favorite restaurant on the island. When they have baby barracuda, it is wonderful.

John,
Unfortunately Warung Louise is closed for a two week holiday. Might be worth trying out the Peruvian place across the street. They cook everything to order so it can take a while but the food is good.

Thanks for the heads up. I went there last time so at least I've experienced it already. I will have to find something else and Mona Lisa could be the place.

Just came back from my trip and another awesome stay at the Deep Blue View. This is where I ate and my impressions.

Sat - Bobbejan's BBQ (everything is excellent, loved the satay, prices are super low)
Sun - Capriccio - (best restaurant on the island IMHO, incredible wines and awesome owners)
Mon - Wil's - (very good and creative, great margaritas, I will be back)
Tue - Richard's - (basic 1980s cooking, not bad but not a place I will return to)
Wed - La Guerinca - (good place, liked the tapas)
Thr - El Fogon Latino - (love this place, great value)
Fri - DBV BBQ - (Esther and Menno are an amazing pair and their BBQ is a real highlight of the week)

Lunches at Rose Inn (loved the goat stew, service is definitely on island time)

Bistro de Paris (good burger, I was a bit disappointed in the french onion soup)

Wil's is downtown between the bank and the Cultimara market.

Bill - Rose Inn is in Rincon on the main road. Look for the sign saying they have the coldiest beer on the island. I loved the goat stew but come with a lot of patience since things move on island time.
