Greetings folks. We are arriving smack in the middle of Easter. We are wondering what stores / restaurants will be open Sunday and Monday? I read somewhere (can't find it at the moment) that we could pre-arrange grocery delivery to our unit? We will be staying at Sand Dollar & I've read that there is a grocery store there. Does anyone know if it will be open then / how I can contact them? Your assistance is appreciated :o) Thanks! Cheryl

You can email Michael at ChatN'Browse (Google for web site) for the Sand Dollar Grocery hours. Sorry, dont' have time just now to look it up for you. Also, Easter Monday is a holiday, so, generally, stores will be closed. I expect many restaurants, and all businesses that specifically cater to tourists will be open Sunday & Monday.

This year (for the first time) we printed-out the "grocery" form from the Sand Dollar web-site. It has a limited set of items that can be ordered, but it got us enough for the first breakfast. We just filled-out the form, scanned it, and E-mailed it back to Sand Dollar (it could probably also be fax'd). Prices were reasonable, and all the items were there in fridge waiting for us.

All the restaurants that are normally open on Sunday, will be open. There may be an exception, however. Pick up a copy of the Bonaire Dining Guide at the arrivals hall, car rental or your hotel. The all list their hours. Bon apetit.
