I haven't seen Op-Op Master Grill on Kaya Korona mentioned recently, and Alan Zale wrote that he didn't find it open during his recent stay in Bonaire. This would be a big loss for us; we thought their chicken and ribs BBQ takeout was really great.

Does anyone have any definite info about Op-Op?

Thanks,

David

Sorry, but they are no more!

If you like chicken and ribs BBQ takeout, then head for Bobby Jan's - Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights only. Really good and you are only 2 minutes from a couple of nice waterfront benches on which to eat and drink the great takeaway!

Bobbejan's has dining tables in the rear of the business. The food is good, and lots for the money... Ron

Bobbejan's is great, but it's quite different from the casual over-the-counter takeout at Op-Op, much more upscale than Op-Op, without being upscale at all. (Am I clear?) Besides, Bobbejan's only open weekends, and I eat every day.

Sorry to lose Op-Op.

Stay Tuned for more important news. I am amassing the list of snacks and will be able to direct folks to their favorite spots.
