The first couple of trips to Bonaire every kitchen had a Mr Coffee coffee machine & nobody had Mr Coffee style coffee filters . We made do w/ the ubiquitous paper towel filter . I brought the appropriate ones w/ me on the next couple of trips and am wondering if I should throw some in on this excursion. They certainly do not take up much space but just curious as to the current status ?
I love this forum , gotta question run downstairs post it and bingo almost instant gratification.
Thanks
Jack

Jack, bring the Mr. Coffee filters, only seen the V-shaped ones on Bonaire.

Sorry it to so long to respond.

Hi Jack,

Tropical Flamingo grocery store does carry the basket filters, but sometimes, they are out, so better to bring your own.

Any time you need Mr. Coffee type filters, pass by and I will be more than happy to share. I buy them 500 at a time from the Tung Fung store.

We got a Mr. Coffee that was broken one trip so we take the Folgers singles as back up now. They are like tea bags only coffee and if you only want one or two cups each morning you don't need to make a whole pot.

Michael, that one woke you right up! LOL.

We (I) bring our own filters with us and leave the ones we don't use for the next fella, in case they don't have any.

Hated those brown paper cone filters!

Folgers, bagels, NY Times (Sunday, preferred)....soon, Biff, soon! Hugs. (down 88 now) Carole

The new coffee pots at Divi have the permanent filters now so you do not have to bring them if you are staying there.

Thanks, George. There is absolutely NO way people who paid hard earned money (and not inexpensive, either) to purhcase timeshares at the Divi should be forced to "share" their properties and amenities (other than the restaurants) with non-paying guests.

That is just not acceptable.

I will be contacting Chapel Hill as well as the resort on island to express my opinions and distain for this practice.

Does the $10.00 per head off-set our maintenance fees each year?? No, of course it does not. Is it to be used to improve the resort for all of us?? Very, very doubtful.

There are only a couple (literally) of toilets available for beach and restaurant/bar goers at the Divi so I can imagine what kind of shape they are in each time a ship or two pulls in.

As you can see I'm hoppin' mad!! cb

Anyone know what kind of coffee makers the Belmar has, or should I contact them directly?
