We will be in Bonaire the last week of February. Should we make reservations in advance? If so, is there a dining guide with telephone numbers or email addresses?

Thanks

Cactus Blue also has an air conditioned dining room as does Casa Blanca, Patagonia and Bistro to name a few.

We like eating outside so we can see all the people going past and see the sunset. The only time we use AC is in the bedroom at night otherwise the breezes on Bonaire are so nice.

Just finished my 8th trip to Bonaire. This is the first time that I've ever had to make reservations way in advance. It was pretty crowded last week, make them a couple days in advance.

Per the Bonaire Dining Guide, Ton and Ronata are back at the Lost Penguin. Is this true?

Sorry, but the update for the on line dining guide is not quite ready and sadly, Ton and Renaota are now almost in Aruba (Renota is still here for a few more weeks.) The new restaurant, Papagayo, has been doing quite well and from experience, I can tell you the hamburgers are great!! The updated web site is almost ready to up load as well

Thanks for the update Michael. Now I am depressed. That was one of our favorite spots. Great food and you could people watch for hours. Not that we did, but the possibilities!!!

In the first half of February, we found that reservations were a good idea. We ate at It Rains Fishes on Valentine's Day - and having a reservation was definitely a good idea that night, in particular.
