Nice Sunday evening here in the UK and I am enjoying a glass of Speckled Hen ale which we have also had at Lion's Den in the past few years.

Hey - hubby was having that on Friday night at one of our local haunts and was thinking about it being 7 weeks later and we were at Lion's Den as well - enjoying an Old Speckled Hen.

Mmmm, I loves me some OSH. I totally forgot that they have OSH at Lion's Den. My wife was also pleased when she saw they had Strongbow too.

There's been quite a bit of OSH talk on the homebrew forums lately.

I officially have a craving how. :-)

Ahh yes - I had COMPLETELY forgotten about that - or maybe didn't know. Now that completes it for me - OSH and Stongbow - LD here we come....in just under 7 weeks.

You can buy it at Antillean Wine Company if the view from Lion's Den gets old. Like that would ever happen. ;)

How about I just leave 7 for ya? That 1/2 pint would likely be flat and nobody likes a flat hen. lol

I'm hoping that I can also find a few bottles of Guinness Foreign Extra. That's not sold in the states so I was pleased when I found them at the gas station last year.

From Shakespeare: Henry V, Act III, Scene II (well sort of):

"Would I were in an alehouse in Bonaire"

We also have it (osh) on draft at one of the three remaining coaching inns in the market town we live in. 4 1/2 weeks to Bonaire

Stop making me drool - heck I live in a place where you can't buy wine in the grocery store but you can buy low alcohol beer and you can't buy soda at the liquor store but you can buy high alcohol beer. So if you want Bud Light and a bottle of Merlot - yep - you gotta go to two different places. If you want rum and coca-cola - yep - two different stores. OR I can go 5 minutes up the road and across the state line and buy my wine and beer at the grocery store...and on Sundays.

Gotta love the laws.
